Let’s be real—SurRon has become the brand everyone searches for when they’re looking for a lightweight electric dirt bike. It’s like how everyone calls facial tissue "Kleenex." We get it. The SurRon Light Bee is a solid bike. But when we set out to build a rental fleet, we quickly realized something:
To make SurRons ready for Southern Utah’s rough, technical terrain, we’d have to upgrade the tires and suspension.
And when you’re buying a fleet of bikes—not just one for your garage—spending time and money on aftermarket upgrades before they’re even rented doesn’t make sense.
Instead of chasing brand hype, we focused on bikes that were ready for off-road riding straight out of the box. When you’re buying a fleet for rentals—not just one bike for your garage—you don’t want something you have to immediately upgrade to survive the terrain.
That’s why we started with the Stage 2 M1 bikes.
They came off-road ready from day one—simple, solid, and perfect for riders of all experience levels to hop on and hit the trails without a bunch of modifications.
As we grew and put miles on our bikes, we kept learning.
After half a year of daily use, we were seriously impressed with the battery performance and durability of the E-Ride Pro bikes—so we recently added those to our fleet for more advanced riders looking for longer rides and a little more punch.
And for our bigger, taller riders, we brought in the 72v Rwarr Mantis bikes because not everyone fits comfortably on a SurRon-style frame. We wanted something that felt stable, strong, and fun—without sacrificing the adventure.
Bottom line: We chose bikes that work for the people who ride with us, in the places we ride every day.
At the end of the day, you’re not renting a bike for its logo.
You’re renting it to have an epic adventure in Southern Utah’s red rock playground.
Our bikes are built for that—straight out of the crate—so you can focus on riding, not wrenching.
Plus, when we built SoTah Adventures, we knew these rides would appeal most to young adults, teens, and families visiting Zion. After days of looking at rocks and standing in lines, we wanted to offer something thrilling, playful, and unforgettable. That’s why we picked bikes that could handle the terrain—and deliver real fun—without the need for expensive upgrades.
