That’s where we come in.
We’ll never forget the time we were on camping at the Promised Land Resort, (an hour east of Park City.) We had our e-dirt bikes with us, and at the campsite was an 8-year-old boy who, from the moment he saw those bikes, was obsessed. He begged his dad nonstop to let him ride one. The only problem? He was way too small to fit on our bikes, but that didn’t stop him.
In true dad fashion, his father came up with a solution: the kid would ride in front of him on the bike. So, with this huge grin plastered on his face, the boy held on tight as we rode miles up the trails together. That kid was absolutely stoked. You could tell that for him, this was a life-changing moment, and honestly, it was one for us too.
Afterward, the dad came over to chat. His son didn't yet know, but he was already preparing to surprise him with his very own electric dirt bike—a 48v Rawrr Mantis Mini. He shared the secret with us, and it was one of those moments where you realize the magic of what these bikes can do for kids. Seeing that joy firsthand was a big push for us to offer child-sized electric dirt bikes. If we could bring that kind of happiness to families visiting Southern Utah, we knew we were on the right path.
When we first started SoTah Adventures, our primary focus was on giving teens and adults the thrill of exploring Southern Utah’s stunning landscapes in a new, exhilarating way. But then, as we looked around at all the families visiting Zion, we had a lightbulb moment: What if we could get the kids in on the action, too?
Cue the child-sized electric dirt bikes.
Let’s be real for a second. We had some serious worries before diving into this. We love creating unforgettable experiences, but we also care deeply about safety. Our first thought was, “What if someone gets hurt?!” It was a legit concern—kids and bikes can be a wild combo. We didn’t want to turn into those business owners who chase profits without thinking things through.
So, we decided: if we were going to do this, it had to be done right. Safety first, always. We put a lot of effort into ensuring these child-sized electric dirt bikes are safe, easy to use, and, of course, ridiculously fun. The bikes are specially designed for smaller riders, and we keep a close watch to make sure everyone has a blast without any unwanted drama.
We decided to leave it up to the parents to decide whether or not they think THEIR CHILD is capable of riding a dirt bike.
Disclaimer:
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that children under the age of 16 should not ride dirt bikes. The AAP expresses concerns about the risks of injury associated with dirt biking, particularly for younger children who may lack the physical development and coordination to handle the vehicle safely.
We didn’t want to be greedy. This wasn’t some grand scheme to rake in extra dollars by throwing bikes at kids and calling it a day. We genuinely wanted to create an experience where families could really enjoy this area together. The thought of kids grinning ear-to-ear while cruising through the red rocks on their own electric dirt bikes? Yeah, that pretty much sealed the deal for us.
And let’s face it: as much as you love your kids, giving them an outlet to burn off that extra energy while you relax and take in the scenery? Priceless.
We’re here to serve, and we truly believe that the best way to experience the beauty of Southern Utah is on two wheels—no matter your size. So, if you’re looking for a way to make vacation unforgettable for the whole family (without the whining), come on out. We’ve got the bikes, the trails, and the fun covered. And hey, if your kids fall in love with the adventure and you’re thinking about taking one home, check out these 48v RAWRR Mantis Mini bikes to keep the fun rolling after vacation!
We buy all of our electric dirt bikes from a fantastic local shop, Amped Bikes. If you're thinking about getting an E-Moto, we highly recommend checking them out!
